What is Palmoplantar Psoriasis?

May 22, 2009 by

Palmoplantar psoriasis is psoriasis of the palms and sole. Psoriasis may affect the palms and soles in many ways; they appear to be very scaly with reddish patch just similar to the ones found on the skin, they appear all over the palms and sole in a thick scaly form. You can also visibly see tiny sheets of yellowish brown pustules on the skin.

Palmoplantar psoriasis clinically is said to be very dry and thickly scaled with deep cracks that are painful. This disorder can cause discomfort to the sufferer and even disrupt their daily activities.

Psoriasis is a chronic reoccurring medical disorder that is caused by an inflammation of the skin cells. This inflammation is caused by an autoimmune defect. This defect makes the skin cells to grow abnormally quick and then cluster on the skin surface causing the skin to lesion. It is reddish, scaly and sometimes bleed. Palmoplantar psoriasis is difficult to distinguish from other types of diseases like the keradermis except for its similarity with psoriasis on the other parts of the body.

Palmoplantar is most commonly found on tobacco smokers, both on the existing and retired tobacco smokers. It is caused and aggravated by smoking tobacco. Which of course we all know is dangerous to our health.

Best Palmoplantar Psoriasis Treatment

Among all treatments available, I highly recommend FDA approved creams as the best treatment option for palmoplanter. In my opinion, they contain all anti inflammatory ingredients that works on the skin inflammation associated with palmoplanter psoriasis. They also contain natural herbal ingredients that help fight the dry skin and reddness.

FDA Psoriasis Creams are produced by medical experts to help soothe the itching, redness and scaling of psoriasis in just days. These creams have proven to work effectively for many Psoriasis sufferers for quite some time now.

The good news is that you can get a free trial sample jar before even buying to see results. You’ll see visible signs of improvements in the 1st week of usage but unfortunately the free samples are available only to people in the US and in Canada. The last time i check the trial offer is for a limited time only, so you’ve got to hurry to grab one.
